If you look at how this subject came about, it's apparently because FF doesn't properly display this page, hence no CPU usage spike.  All I did was mention that and I guess I picked the common FF scab you all so proudly wear...  Next thing I know, FF is the most widely used browser in the world, so again, in an effort to merely set the record straight, I scoffed... and then used the horrible wikipedia, which apparently is not as good a source of information as whatever website you use.  Give me a fuckin break.

Hey guys, yeah, i am going through the forum trying to find the problem.  It is going to take me a couple of days to get things sorted out.   One of the problems is the Arcade scroller,  but it shouldn't be pushing it upto 50%.

I am still unpacking my systems so I am poking away on the wifes laptop that is why it is taking me a bit.

Thanks man, I poked around a bit but the only way I could see to stop the scroller was to remove the arcade, and didnt want to do that so I left it as it was.

As a side note I checked and the wikipedia article did correctly cite the web browser usage data from NPD so that was accurate.

Yeah, there were a couple of bad scripts on the forum, and yes one of them was the arcade scroller, I have removed it and currently rewriting it to fix the major problems that were in it.

I with I had time...lol.  With moving, fixing this site, fixing my site and fixing a couple of other sites, along with renevating my new computer room, redoing the bathroom, painting the house, working.  I guess I find a couple of hours here and there to sleep...lol

As pretty much a lifelong insomniac I can tell ya that sleep is a total waste of time and is highly overrated...
